White Sox 7, Blue Jays 5

CHICAGO — Conor Gillaspie hit his first grand slam and Jordan Danks added a two-run shot to cap a six-run first inning for the White Sox. Edwin Encarnacion hit a two-run homer, his first since returning from the disabled list Friday, for the Blue Jays, who have lost five of six and 11 of 15 to fall 7½ games behind the Orioles in the AL East and four behind the Mariners in the AL wild-card race.
