White Sox 8, Red Sox 3

BOSTON — Conor Gillaspie hit a tiebreaking two-run homer in the sixth inning for his third hit of the game for the White Sox. The Red Sox did manage to snap Chicago pitchers' streak of 22 scoreless innings but lost for the seventh time in eight games and remained in the AL East cellar. The White Sox have won five of six.
