BALTIMORE — Shane Greene took a four-hitter into the eighth inning of his second major-league start for the Yankees. Greene, who had posted ordinary numbers at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, had nine strikeouts, including three by Nelson Cruz. "We were really excited about him in spring training and what he could possibly do for us," Yankees manager Joe Girardi said. "He's stepping up, that's for sure."
