Yankees 5, Orioles 2

NEW YORK — The Yankees turned their first triple play at home in 45 years in the eighth after Adam Jones dropped Vernon Wells' fly ball while blowing a bubble for a tiebreaking three-run error. The Yankees loaded the bases on two walks and a hit batter. Wells hit a fly that Jones followed to the warning track. As Jones raised his glove and blew a pink bubble, he closed the glove a bit early, and the ball bounced away clearing the bases.
