NEW YORK — Brian McCann homered among his career high-tying four hits, and the Yankees snapped a three-game losing streak. McCann homered a day earlier when New York got battered by the Red Sox, leaving it five games behind for the second AL wild-card spot. In the rematch with last-place Boston, he drove in three runs and gave an early cushion to Hiroki Kuroda. McCann has mostly been a disappointment in his first year with the Yankees, stuck in a season-long slump.
