What is tb-two*?

Well, for one thing, it's the coolest high school newspaper in all the land. Watch our video and find out more.

BULLY PULPIT

Just about everyone knows someone who has been bullied, in ways big and small. Understandably, though, many victims are reluctant to speak about their experiences. We found some who aren't.

Time: A late Friday afternoon, 2008.

Place: Nordstrom, International Plaza

Players: Moms One and Two, each with a daughter going to the homecoming dance that night.

Circumstance: The Plant High dance was on a Friday, but nooooo, school was not let out early. For girls who didn’t have Mom call the office about a (wink, wink) doctor’s appointment, time was tight and tensions were high.

Mom Two decides daughter of Mom One has been in the chair at the smashbox counter way too long and that it is now her own daughter’s turn. She voices this opinion.

Mom One replies huffily that her daughter is not finished.

Mom Two responds in her own huff, heated words ignite into screeching, harpy exchanges fit for a Bridezilla episode, and a clerk calls security. Both daughters eventually get their makeup done, tears streaming.
