Well, for one thing, it's the coolest high school newspaper in all the land. Watch our video and find out more.
Just about everyone knows someone who has been bullied, in ways big and small. Understandably, though, many victims are reluctant to speak about their experiences. We found some who aren't.
We’ve all seen it here. It’s Florida’s cold weather season, or what passes for it, and here comes someone wearing a sweater — with sandals. Or, my personal favorite, short shorts with heavy, fleece-trimmed boots, perfect for wading through snow drifts. The wearers might think they are being trendy, but they send a mixed message: Is it hot or cold outside? Hard to tell. Though Florida’s weather may be unpredictable and confusing, our wardrobe doesn’t have to be. Once we’ve been graced by cooler weather, it’s time to retire our shorts and sandals and break out our jackets. Winter is soon upon us; please dress accordingly.
“There is a time for shorts, and cold season isn’t the time.”
