What is tb-two*?

Well, for one thing, it's the coolest high school newspaper in all the land. Watch our video and find out more.

BULLY PULPIT

Just about everyone knows someone who has been bullied, in ways big and small. Understandably, though, many victims are reluctant to speak about their experiences. We found some who aren't.

No one.

The VMAs seriously disappointed this year with the lack of flare in dress choice.

When it comes to award shows, I could care less who wins. Once the shows signs off, so do I. But there is one thing I always bring up the next day: what everyone was wearing. To me, that’s the best—or worst—part of the shows.

The MTV Video Music Awards are notorious for risk-taking artists: This is where they bring snakes as accessories, wear meat dresses, and make out on stage. Naturally, I tuned in to the awards this year expecting, well, something unexpected.

Unfortunately, I was bored with the outfits for the most part. There was Nikki Minaj, who tried way to hard to be Gaga-esque; Gaga, who was less Mother Monster and more Mister Guido; and too many plain-and-simple outfits. Rapper Tyler the Creator (Best New Artist winner) strut around the ceremony in a tie-dyed kitty shirt. Come on; way too casual.

Not to say that there weren't some sharply dressed people on Sunday night. Beyonce looked perfect, as usual, though it was a tad too early to try to pull off the maternity-dress look. Selena Gomez' dress didn’t, thankfully, scream “I wish I weren't still a Disney Girl,” but instead murmured “Psst, I am tastefully getting older.”  It was one of my favorites of the night.

Pit Bull matched from head to toe during his performance, and I loved it. I think his red pants/white and blue striped shirt /white blazer combo suited him well. Even the napkin in his blazer pocket matched his pants!  He definitely rocked the Cuban-stud persona he portrays through his music.

Overall, the clothing choices this year were just alright. Nothing sparked my interest in a good way, not even Katy Perry’s yellow cube hat.

What was your favorite outfit/look of the evening?
