BULLY PULPIT

Just about everyone knows someone who has been bullied, in ways big and small. Understandably, though, many victims are reluctant to speak about their experiences. We found some who aren't.

Let’s face it. College is rough on your stomach. For the average cash-strapped student with an R.A. who is a kitchen appliance Nazi, eating without a meal plan is almost impossible. However, for those whose mothers insist on sending a clothes iron with you to college, a favorite childhood meal can be made in even the dizziest dazes of dorm life.

Making an iron-pressed grilled cheese sandwich is much like pressing a shirt (sans the aluminum foil). All you need is cheese slices of your preference, bread, foil, an iron and a flat surface.

1. Place a slice of bread onto a sheet of foil. Put the desired amount of cheese on.
2. Cover with the second slice of bread and another sheet of foil. Set the iron to full heat. (Trust me, it’s necessary for an even melt.)
3. Press and run over the foil for about a minute. Flip and repeat on the other side, and
4. Presto, you have yourself a delicious (sort of) toasty grilled cheese sandwich. You can use this method to press any other type of sandwich, too. Just remember to use the foil lest you want your clothes to smell like Swiss.
