Well, for one thing, it's the coolest high school newspaper in all the land. Watch our video and find out more.
Just about everyone knows someone who has been bullied, in ways big and small. Understandably, though, many victims are reluctant to speak about their experiences. We found some who aren't.
We're gaga for quirky footwear
By Liz Tsourakis, Hillsborough High
Awards shows often let us look deep into the sometimes twisted soles, if not ankles, of celebrities. But some famous feet don’t need a red carpet to show off peculiar fashionista flair. Check out these favorites.
Follow the photos below, from left:
Nicole Scherzinger
High heels, sans heels. Confusing? You be The X Factor judge’s judge.
Madonna
We hope the Queen of Pop has a permit for these
Elton John
Girls aren’t the only ones with odd foot fashion; Elton John rocked these platform boots back in the ’70s.
Willow Smith
These way-over-the-knee Converse are way over the top, even if your parents are Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Lady Gaga
This list wouldn’t be complete without Lady Gaga; her signature McQueen armadillo heels add 12 inches to her 5-foot-1 frame.
Victoria Beckham
Sometimes Christian Louboutin blurs the line between couture and medieval torture devices. Or maybe these are for soccer.

OMG, shoes!
We know this video (tinyurl.com/liamshoes) is a little old school (2007 to be exact), but how could we pass up this YouTube sensation in an issue all about shoes? Listed in Time magazine’s YouTube’s 50 Best Videos of all time, Shoes hit more than 41 million views. For producing and performing this gem, Liam Kelly Sullivan deserves all of the awards. Make sure to check out liamshow.com for more knee-slapping videos by Sullivan. tb-two* disclaimer: Make sure not to play this too loud in class or in front of your parents due to some suggestive content and language.

For Crocophiles
You may still love to hate them, as do the 1.7 million members of an anti-Crocs Facebook page, but the New York Times reports the company that makes the squishy lightweight clogs is continuing to offer new styles but is now paying tribute to the ugly slip-on that made if famous and then infamous. In honor of its 10th anniversary, a Crocs ad pictures a new lime green and turquoise peep-toe flat sole to sole with the original clog and the text “new style on the outside, same comfort on the inside.” By the way, haters, that ugly clog still accounts for 45 percent of the company’s sales.
