Well, for one thing, it's the coolest high school newspaper in all the land. Watch our video and find out more.
Just about everyone knows someone who has been bullied, in ways big and small. Understandably, though, many victims are reluctant to speak about their experiences. We found some who aren't.
BY NICOLE ZAKRZEWSKI, PALM HARBOR UNIVERSITY HIGH
Here are four prom face-offs at The St. Pete Boxing Club, which welcomed us like champs: short vs. long, feathers vs. beads, and strapless vs. sleeveless.
Finding the perfect prom outfit can be a struggle, with so many contenders. How do you choose a style, or color? Or price: rent or buy? Or length: short, long, or both in one? To help you, tb-two* staged a glamorous fight club, and feel free to talk about this one. If it’s your first night here, you have to dance. (If some other girl shows up wearing the same dress, well, then it may go from battle to war, but you’re on your own there.)

Tuxedos are the way to go for most guys, so no battle there. But the real dilemma is whether you choose a bow tie or a standard necktie. Sebastian Sandoval, a senior at Wharton High, went for the classic bow tie to accent his black satin shawl lapel tuxedo and white wing collar pleated shirt, the pale pink herringbone pattern repeated in his vest and pocket square. (Yes, the tie is a bit askew after a round in the boxing ring.) Rental: $134.95, includes shoes; $40 discount with school card.
Sebastian’s commentary: “I like the pink, it’s subtle, and a great way to complement your date if she is wearing pink, as well.”

Austin Crawford, a senior at Gibbs High, chose a solid black satin standard necktie to go with his classic tuxedo, the jacket with single notch and satin trimmed lapel over a white laydown collar shirt. The pièce de résistance: a snappy black plaid vest and pocket square. Rental: $154.95, includes shoes; $40 discount with school card
Austin’s commentary: “This tuxedo is great, much more classic and traditional. (While doing the Bernie): Yeah this is pretty danceable, 100 percent.”
