Here are some useful FREE phone apps that will help you keep that promise you made at the start of the year to do well and get A’s:

MyHomework
MyHomework is so simple, it’s awesome. You keep a calendar in which you put important due dates for different classes, or you can look at a list of every homework assignment you have entered and whether it has been completed or not. Also, myHomework will keep record of all of your classes and what teacher and building correspond to each. And yes, it can even synch to Facebook, so you will never have to leave your favorite site.

HomeWork
HomeWork is a little more complex. You have the typical homework list with what has been completed and what has not, as well as a daily and weekly calendar and another menu for exam dates. There are also pages for timetables, grade lists, holidays and even a link for your personal school’s website. With this app, there’s no excuse for not remembering!

Evernote
Evernote lets you take notes and synch the notes across all the devices you use. You can capture photos, make lists and share with friends via Facebook, and it’s searchable.

Remember the Milk
And everything else.  This app will help you remember everything you need to do, ever. After quickly creating an account that will let you access it on the computer, Remember the Milk keeps tabs on every task that needs to be completed (organized by work, personal, study, etc.) and the date by when it needs to be complete.

GTUNES MUSIC V6
We all have that one teacher we completely adore who lets us listen to music while we work, right?  Even though this app is an MP3 downloader, the app as well as the music are completely free and can be played directly on your phone within minutes so you can jam to your playlist while you do your work. Studies show that listening to background music has a positive effect on studying and remembering information.
