The highlight — a school-record 50-point effort against Sarasota Cardinal Mooney in the semifinals of the City of Tampa Championships, during which Corbett eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for his career. “He impressed us with his 3-point range — hitting deep 3s, and he has great touch on his assortment of floaters,” said Jesuit coach Neal Goldman, whose team topped Corbett’s, 72-61. “He also is a force with his length defensively.”
