Overall, art is the one thing I’m always sure about; I don’t question inspiration or expression. It’s the one thing that calms me down, and it’s the only thing I can work on for hours on end, slouched over my work until late at night. I like to think of my style as urban innovation. Traditionally, art hangs motionless in a museum, but I bring my art into everyday life. It was only recently when I found my niche painting on, well, everything, and especially on shoes. Pattern and popular culture fascinate me the most, and I reflect it in my work. I do what I do simply because I love it, and I feel fortunate knowing that I have found one true passion in my life, which for many people is harder to find than anything.
