With the hottest time of the year, also comes some of the best album releases. As an added bonus, July holds a (very) highly anticipated one. Here's tb-two*s snippets on a few summer releases:
Snoop Dogg, Bush (May 12): By the sound of Peaches and Cream, we might be hearing another substantial album from Snoop.
Shamir, Ratchet (May 19): Vegas breeds some of the most "characters" in music as evidenced by Shamir. Hot off a mixtape, he's finally serving up a debut.
Brandon Flowers, The Desired Effect (May 19): Shamir's fellow Vegas native is dropping solo album No. 2.
Zedd, True Colors (May 19): Second album for the Russian-born German producer.
Twenty One Pilots, Blurryface (May 19): Fourth overall release from the two-man band.
Major Lazer, Peace is the Mission (June 1): Diplo and his gang continue their diverse leanings on their newest record.
Florence + the Machine, How Big How Blue How Beautiful (June 2): The British group is on its third album, the first in nearly four years.
Robert Glasper, Covered (June 16): The live album by RG's trio features covers of other artists' songs as well as a few of his own.
Nate Ruess, Grand Romantic (June 16): After a couple of features and one single, it's time Ruess releases an album.
A$AP Rocky, At. Long. Last. A$AP (TBA): The first TBA album on here is sitting pretty on top of all the hype and rumored dates.
Frank Ocean, TBA (July but no date announced): Even without a title at the present time, this is the album that definitely won't fall to the sophomore jinx. I'm that confident in Ocean delivering after three years.
