Four Tampa Bay indie markets for weekend shoppers

There's a lot going on in Tampa Bay this weekend, from Star Wars screenings to boat parades to the 93.3 FLZ Jingle Ball. But no matter where you go, expect shoppers to be out in full force for Super Saturday, scrambling to find last minute gifts.

If you're still looking for the perfect present but want to avoid the crowds, head to one of these four indie markets across the bay area this weekend.

St. Pete Indie Market Holiday Pop-up Market

260 1st Ave S, St. Petersburg

Saturday, Dec. 19, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

St. Pete Indie Market hosts its holiday pop-up shop at Station House St. Pete, and there's a yoga class to kick things off at 9:30 a.m.

Pierce Street Market

2 Drew St, Clearwater

Saturday, Dec. 19, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Clearwater's Pierce Street Market takes place the second Saturday of each month from October to May. And for those seeking an early morning workout before shopping, the market opens early for runners of Saturday's Say No To Drugs 5K/10K race.

ARTpool Gallery December Crafty Fest

2030 Central Ave, St. Petersburg

Saturday, Dec. 19 and Sunday, Dec. 20, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Crafty Fest is ARTpool Gallery's monthly market. This month the first 50 to arrive on Saturday and Sunday will receive free gift bags.

Tampa's Indie Flea at the Rialto Theatre

1617 N Franklin St, Tampa

Sunday, Dec. 20, 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.

The Tampa Indie Flea is back, and for the holiday installment this month, expect a record store pop-up from Microgroove.
