Reader's Exchange: Cleaning containers, cards yours for the taking

Spring is officially here, and it seems that faithful REXer Nancy of Dunedin has been spring cleaning and has a plethora of items to pass on to someone else. First, Nancy would like to give away about 90 empty cleaning containers, some bottles, round, square and oblong, from 1 ounce to 4 ounces. She suggests they would be great for an art project, organizing art supplies or traveling. Next, Nancy has more than 500 new all-occasion greeting cards with envelopes. Finally, she has a set of seven hardcover Time Life books titled The Enchanted World of: Dwarves, Ghosts, Magical Beasts, Legends of Valor, Fairies and Elves, Wizards and Witches and Dragons. She says these can make a wonderful gift. They were a present for her husband, who loved them. Nancy can be reached at (727) 734-9872.

Fathful REXer Lucie Somers wrote in to thank everyone who remembered her birthday again this year and sent her cards. She is amazed and touched that so many people thought of her. She was treated to a wonderful surprise party from her family to celebrate her 73rd birthday. Lucie is hoping to find a set of steak knives and a set of sharp knives. The ones she had were ruined by the dishwasher. Lucie is also on the hunt for a small to medium-sized cloth handbag. She says she can't use a regular-size handbag anymore, and the cloth ones are hard to come by. If you can help Lucie with any of her requests, please write to her at 1415 Main St., Lot 219, Dunedin, FL 34698.
