This IP hot spot is more bar than restaurant. It offers $1 burgers on Tuesday nights. Also, there are tater tots. Napoleon Dynamite would approve. The '80s soundtrack is a guilty pleasure, especially delicious when taken concurrently with a couple of the 40 beers on tap. The vibe is all funky artwork, echoey urban-industrial interior.

The bar scene: Bar Louie is the middleman at the IP. It's not too shabby and you don't have to get decked out; just be casual. Don't let the casual atmosphere fool you, though. You'll still pay $10 for a martini. But Bar Louie offers a selection of drafts, bottled beers, microbrews and more than 20 wines by the glass. The surroundings are warm with a contemporary, urban feel, and the floor is spotted with high-top and regular tables as well as booths and a large bar. There's a lot to be found here from lunch to 2 a.m. and the professionals of Tampa, young and old, seem to love it.
