The park is part of the Great Florida Birding Trail and participates in the annual butterfly count with the North American Butterfly Association. There are picnic areas, a playground for tots and gift shop. Ecosystem Tram Tours, 1 p.m. Tue.-Sun., are $2. Overnight camp sites and cabins are available for rental. Take sun screen, a hat to shield you from the sun and water to hydrate especially if you visit during the spring and summer months. Trails close one-half hour before sundown. Also, during summer break, day camps are available for students starting in kindergarten.
