The park features a tent camping area, boardwalk, bike trails and observation tower. There are four picnic shelters with grills ($25 for four-hour blocks) and two pavillions with electricity, individual grills and a fireplace grill ($40 for six-hour blocks). The kids can enjoy the two playgrounds, while adults have fun on at the beach volleyball court or horseshoe pit. One hiking trail leads through a botanical garden filled with birds, butterflies and wildlife. Other trails lead through forest.
As of spring 2010, Crews Lake itself has shrunk to the point that the fishing pier, boat ramp and canoe launch are largely useless. There are plans to replenish the lake.
