The second of two Elmers, this is no junior. It's bigger and comfier than its Ybor brother, with a huge U-shaped bar, tall and regular-size tables accommodating around 150 people. Because it's cleaner than your average bar and there's no smoking inside, the brick walls and painted wood paneling don't have that dingy bar-yuk coating.
Eleven TVs, two big-screens show NFL Ticket games and other sports. In addition, there are three pool tables, darts, golf and bowling video games, and a dog-friendly outdoor deck to pet a pooch or enjoy a cigarette. The mostly female bartenders pride themselves on serving stiff cocktails. Jaeger bombs are popular and cost less than at most bars, and buckets of domestic beers cost $9. Guinness and Bass are available on tap.
This is a Washington Redskins hangout, so be careful if you're a Cowboys fan and mistakenly wander in. Great burgers, wings and salads highlight the menu. Kitchen stays open late.
