Comprehensive permanent collection of 19th century French and American paintings, early 20th century American paintings and photography. Currently: Five Decades of Photography at the Museum of Fine Arts featuring the Dandrew-Drapkin Collection features images from the early days of the medium to the 21st century, displaying all known forms of photographic media and includes iconic images from a long list of famous photographers. Through Oct. 4. Drawing: The Foundation of Art features superlative examples from the museum's collection. Through Nov. 29.
