Saimira European Grill is the kind of restaurant we loved before we knew about calories, cholesterol and the perils of too many carbohydrates. The culinary credo is ''more is better''. Servings are big, sauces are lavishly applied and no one is going to walk away hungry. Most of the dishes will be familiar, although owner Joseph Spagnolo has reinterpreted Italian dish names ("saltimbocca" becomes "Jump in Your Mouth") and given others an Albanian accent. The kitchen excels at the traditional rib-sticking Italian dishes that are comfort food regardless of your heritage. You know, hand-rolled sheets of pasta enfolding ricotta, mozzarella and Parmesan, topped with tomato sauce, more mozzarella and then baked until molten.
