Don't be fooled by this cozy 15,000-square-foot library. There are nearly 93,000 volumes on the shelves. And best of all for families, a separate room just for kids. The room has three large chairs that are each just the right size for a parent and a couple of kids to sit in and enjoy a book. The only problem might be that the chairs are side by side so it will be difficult to share a book with your kids if another family is trying to do the same thing in the next chair. Still, it would be fun to sit in them with your kids or relax there while your kids checked out the computers or looked through the pint-sized bookshelves to find their favorites. If you don't feel like tackling the big chairs, the kids can sit at just-their-size tables and chairs and do their work or sit on a couple of soft benches. For convenience, the restrooms are located near the room and juvenile fiction for older kids is right outside the Kid's room. The room is bright and has a good amount of DVDs and audio books. Speaking of books, have you heard of a book called Zoom? This library has several copies and it is a great book. Check it out. There's plenty to keep you busy there: Story Time for babies and toddlers, special family programs and events for the community. There's free wireless, Internet access on 19 computers and self checkout is available.
