Muvico Centro Ybor has 20 screens, with one 3D. There's all stadium seating. Foodwise, the snack bar offers substantial options like popcorn shrimp, buffalo wings and sliders. And on Tuesdays, adult tickets are $6 all day.
This can be a classy place for a date. For starters, there are fresh flowers on the lobby tables. Then there's the full liquor bar. You can take drinks into any theater, but aim for No. 15 or 16. Those two are more upscale with wider seats, left over from their adults-only days. But every theater offers comfy seats with adjustable armrests, making them prime for snuggling.
It is Ybor, so parking's not free. But the Centro Ybor garage charges only $1 for up to three hours, which gives you ample time for dinner and a movie. Just be sure to wear comfortable shoes; it's a wee bit of a hike. Or spring for valet parking. Get your valet ticket validated inside the theater, and it'll set you back only $3. The theater can host children's birthday parties and there are "family-friendly" specials. Tickets can be purchased in advance online. There are devices for the hearing impaired and theaters are wheelchair accessible.
