The effort of brothers Willie and Javier DeJesus, both veteran restauranteurs, Javier having been a corporate chef for Hyatt properties as well as at the Seminole Hard Rock, Pacific Wave and Maggiano's. Willie is more of a front-of-the-house man, having spent 6½ years with Darden restaurants before spending time at Pacific Wave and Shackleton's Folly. The Spot is a casual neighborhood kind of place, which, according to Willie DeJesus, will build a fan base on the strength of its mac 'n' cheese, Angus burgers and cheesesteaks.
