711 Franklin St., Tampa, FL 33672
Tampa Theatre turns 90 and celebrates by rolling back movie ticket prices to what they were in 1926, 25-cents. Each of four screenings pays tribute to the art of cinema. Screenings include Hugo (2011), The Artist (2011), Cinema Paradiso (1988) and the silent film set to organ accompaniment, The Cameraman (1928).
The second film is 2011 Best Picture winner The Artist, which crosses the worlds of silent films and talkies.
