5 things to do under $5: Cat film fest, free Glazer Museum admission, Ybor City Cigar Heritage Festival

1 Cats Film Festival: The elaborate holiday decorations are enough to draw us to the Florida Botanical Gardens this time of year, but Saturday brings a family-friendly, 70-minute reel full of wild and hilarious cat antics curated from the Internet’s funniest videos.
11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday. 12520 Ulmerton Road, Largo. Admission is free with a donation of cat food
(an 8-pound bag of dry cat food or six cans of wet cat food).

2 Florida Orchestra: Family Concerts: A 35-minute performance to introduce young children to classical music features the Science of Sound: Horn Quartet. There will be 45 minutes of activities, including the instrument Petting Zoo. Pay-what-you-can for shows at 10 and 11:15 a.m. Saturday at the Hillsborough Community College Ybor Campus Performing Arts Building, 1304 E 11th Ave., Tampa. (727) 892-3337.

3 Canopy Tree Climbing: Climbers ages 6 and older can ascend into the canopy of a live oak tree using harnesses and a rope pulley system. 10 a.m.-
3 p.m. Saturday. Pathfinder Outdoor Education, 1310 22nd Ave. S, St. Petersburg. Free. (727) 328-0300.

4 Ybor City Cigar Heritage Festival: The annual event celebrates the cultural heritage of Ybor City and the cigar industry. Highlights include live cigar rolling demonstrations as well as gourmet food trucks, a beer truck and music by the Black Honkeys. 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Centennial Park, 1800 E Eighth Ave., Tampa. Free.

5 Free Tuesday at Glazer Museum: The hands-on museum and the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County join for this event offering free admission from noon to 7 p.m. Glazer Children’s Museum, 110 W Gasparilla Plaza, Tampa. (813) 443-3861.
