1 License-Free Saltwater Fishing Day: Held a few times a year in Florida, this free fishing day on Saturday provides an opportunity to introduce friends or kids to fishing. License requirements are waived for all recreational anglers (residents and nonresidents). All other rules regarding season, bag and size limits apply. The saltwater waiver applies to any recreational harvest requiring a saltwater fishing license. A snook or spiny lobster permit are not required this day.
