1Safety Harbor Seafood Festival: Seafood and other food vendors from around the country serve up their specialties at this two-day festival with live music, arts and crafts, kids' crafts, inflatables and other activities. 2Book Signing with Jaime Kulaga: Life coach Jaime Kulaga will sign copies of her new book, SuperWoman's Guide to Super Fulfillment, a quick-start guide to help busy women get their life back on track. 3Strawberry U-Pick Fundraiser: It's just $5 per box of strawberries at Wish Farms' huge strawberry fields in the Manatee County town of Duette. The money raised benefits RCMA, an organization that provides child care and early education for children of migrant farm workers and rural, low-income families throughout Florida. Food banks can pick strawberries for free if containers are supplied (documentation required). The fields are ripe for the picking 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at Wish Farms, 37381 State Road 62, Duette. 4Tampa Bay Boat Show: Sure, there will be plenty of boats, trailers and watercraft to drool over, but this huge boat show at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg this weekend will also have fishing school seminars, like snook tactics or finding the best scuba and snorkel spots in the Gulf of Mexico. It's all free 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday.

5Dogs get their day: There are two festivals this weekend aimed at the four-legged members of the family. The Doggie Carnival and Fair, at Plant City's Second Chance Boxer Rescue Boxer Ranch, 6106 W Knights Griffin Road, runs 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday with a noncompetitive lure course, games, music, food, vendors, a doggie costume contest and an adoptable dog showcase. $5. Then there's Mutt Madness at Dunedin's Highlander Park, 1920 Pinehurst Road. It runs 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday with a "Dancing with the Paws" pet-owner dance contest, a "Fido Idol" dog singing competition, pet-owner look-alike contest, pet vendors, children's play area, low-cost vaccinations, food court and adoptable pets on site. Free, $5 parking.
