Marine Corps League 708 Friday Night Dinner: Open to the public, dinner includes choice of baked or fried fish, fried shrimp or an alternative meat, as well as mashed potatoes or steak fries, vegetable or coleslaw, salad, corn muffin, dessert and coffee or tea. Spring Hill Holiday Display: Joe and Connie Castorino invite the public to view the display of Christmas lights and ornaments that covers their front and side yards, and the more than 300 lighted and animated buildings and accessories including Lionel trains, trolleys, Disney monorails and a drive-in theater that fill their two-car garage. 6 to 9 p.m. nightly through Dec. 28. Christmas Eve Potluck Dinner: Hosted by the Unitarian Universalist Church in the Pines. The church will provide ham, turkey and drinks. 12:30 p.m. Bring a covered dish, dessert or $5. Heather Clubhouse, 9100 Nakoma Way, Weeki Wachee.

Pick Two Luncheon on the Hill: Enjoy a gourmet luncheon at Chinsegut Hill Retreat. The meal includes your choice of soup, salad or quiche, plus a beverage and dessert. Luncheons are held Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays of each week. Reservations are needed for groups of 5 or more.
