Low Cost Pet Vaccination Clinic: Sponsored by the Florida International Teaching Zoo veterinary staff. Vaccinations are administered by a veterinarian. Documentation is provided. Walking Sticks Club: May’s Prairie: Join the club to hike and learn about different natural areas and how the Florida Wildlife Conservation manages lands. The casual paced two-mile hike will take place around the main loop of May’s Prairie. The center will provide walking sticks to borrow during hike. Call to RSVP. 8 a.m. Free. First Day Hike: Kick off your New Year’s resolution with a two-mile hike. Dress for outdoors. Bring bottled water, sunscreen and insect repellent. Archery for Youth: The two-day archery exploration program, for children ages 10-16, will take students from the basics to planning a hunt and the ethics of hunting. All equipment will be provided.
