Wine tasting and auction: The evening will include entertainment, games and hors d’oeuvres. Salty Paws Inshore Fishing Tournament: A mandatory captain’s meeting will be at 6 p.m. at Silverking Brewing Co., 325 E Lemon St., Tarpon Springs. Fishing begins at 12:01 a.m. Saturday for overnight-equipped boats and at first light for all others in this catch/photo and release tournament for trout, redfish and snook. All active fishermen on vessels must be registered. Fishing must be done on hand-held, non-motorized rods and reels only. There are no boundaries for fishing. 5K Run with the Bobcats: Registration will be from 6:30 to 7:45 a.m. The race starts at 8 a.m., followed by a free family fun run at 9 a.m. Funds raised will benefit the nationally ranked PHSC women’s cross-country team. Awards presentations will include prizes for top male and female finishers and master male and female. Also, top finishers in each age group will receive awards.
