Watson Park Community Garden Planting Ceremony: The ceremony is to celebrate the Watson Park Community Garden, a partnership between UF/IFAS Pasco County Cooperative Extension Service’s Horticulture Program and the City of Dade City that represents a first-of-its-kind land-use agreement between a municipality and the University of Florida. Residents can reserve a free plot for growing fruits, vegetables and flowers. The Pasco County Extension Office will operate the community garden and offer free horticulture and gardening lessons.
