Harvest Moon Sunflower Maze: The 5-acre sunflower maze features more than 3 miles of twists and turns along with a 70-foot jumping pillow, cow train ride, mineshaft plunge, Wizzer spin and petting farm. Sweetfields Farm Sunflower Maze: Featuring the sunflower maze, farm activities, animals, hay rides and freshly harvested crops from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through May 27, as well as on Memorial Day (May 28), at Sweetfields Farm, 17250 Benes Roush Road, Masaryktown. Admission is $9.50, $5 for ages 3-11, free for ages 2 and younger (plus tax). No pets allowed. Visit sweetfieldsfarm.com.

Art events

Uptown Art Gallery "Celebrating the Gallery's 20th Birthday" exhibit reception: The reception will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. May 25 at the gallery, located in Brooksville City Hall, 201 Howell Ave., Brooksville. The gallery celebrates 20 years on June 1. The exhibit, which is on display until Aug. 11, features a potpourri of artwork that range from fun to serious pieces, landscapes to impressionism, in a variety of mediums. Call (352) 540-3810.

Un-Common-Ly-Artsy: The event, which features a collection of fine artists, crafters and makers, will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 26 at the Uptown Art Gallery at Brooksville City Hall, 201 Howell Ave., Brooksville. This is the first of the monthly arts market, which will be held on the fourth Saturday of each month. Food trucks will be on site. Call (352) 540-6476.

PHSC Summer Art Show: The annual summer exhibit continues through Aug. 10 at Pasco-Hernando State College Rao Musunuru, M.D., Art Gallery, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey. Reflections: This is a collection of local artists' works and craft items on display now through Sept. 27 at the West Pasco Art Guild, 6296 Jefferson St., New Port Richey. Look ahead

Jimmy Ferraro's Dessert Theatre presents the Sweeney "Family" Band: The country comedy band entertains from 2 to 5 p.m. June 3 at the CARES Elfers Center, 4136 Barker Drive, New Port Richey. The musical comedy act blends country, folk and gospel music with knee-slapping humor. Doors open at 1 p.m., with the show starting at 2 p.m. Desserts and light snacks available for purchase.
