Comic Daniel Tosh coming to Tampa

Comic Daniel Tosh returns to Comedy Central's airwaves this week with a new season of Tosh.0. What better time to announce a national tour? Tosh will bring his "June Gloom Tour" to the Straz Center in Tampa on June 27. According to Ticketmaster, Tosh will deliver two shows, at 7 and 9:30 p.m. Tickets start at a hefty $59.50, and they'll go on sale Friday. Keep an eye on the Straz Center's website for details. The Florida native grew up in Titusville and graduated from the University of Central Florida. He was at the center of the debate of whether comics can go too far after trying out a joke about rape during a set. The joke brought a mountain of Twitter outrage down on him, even as comics like Louis C.K. weighed in to defend a comic's right to try and fail at making people laugh."The point I was making before I was heckled is there are awful things in the world, but you can still make jokes about them," Tosh wrote on Twitter after a July exchange with a female patron at the Laugh Factory club in Los Angeles.
