Hillsborough County Fair opens

 
Gladis Anastasini of Mexico, an acrobat with the Heidi Harriott's Family Fun Circus performs on the 'Lira' at the 21st Annual Hillsborough County Fair on State Road 60 East of Brandon. Experience the Arnold amusement rides, animal livestock shows and judging, arts, agriculture and live entertainment. The fair runs through October 23rd through 26th and following weekend of October 30th through November 2. Parking is free with the gates opening 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, gates open at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The fair offers amusement rides, livestock shows and judging, arts, agriculture, live entertainment and plenty of food. It runs through Sunday and picks up again next weekend, Oct. 30 through Nov. 2. Parking is free, with the gates opening at 5 p.m. today, and 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $7; $4 for ages 65 and older; $5 for K-12 students. Children 5 and younger get in free.
