PARC celebration notes 60 years

Award-winning film editor Doug Ibold will be the guest speaker at Tuesday's 60th Diamond Anniversary Celebration for PARC. Ibold's mother, Edythe Ibold, was a founder of the organization. The dinner event begins at 6 p.m. in the Mahaffey Theater, 400 First St. S. $60. (727) 341-6920.

Sheriff at fundraiser

Daystar Life Center honors Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri at its inaugural "With These Hands" fundraising breakfast from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Name Catholic Church, 5800 15th Ave. S, Gulfport. $15 minimum. (727) 498-8794.

A special luncheon
