Saint Leo Drop-N-Shop Children's Camp: Hosted by the Saint Leo women's basketball team in the Marion Bowman Activities Center. Open to ages 4-14, the camp will include games and activities, such as basketball, baseball, crafts and swimming. Campers are to bring their lunch; and those planning to go in the pool should bring a bathing suit, towel and sunscreen. 8 a.m. to noon. $40 for first child ($10 for additional children). About Boating Safely: Provided by the Hudson Flotilla 11-7 US Coast Guard Auxiliary. Making and Caring For a Bonsai Gift: Demonstrations throughout the day on creating a bonsai for a unique gift. Also, learn how to care for the miniature treescapes during cooler months. Visitors may bring a bonsai for demonstration and advice, then take a stroll through the gardens and get inspiration on decorating the bonsai for the holiday season. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free. Teen Volunteer Training: This is the training session to become a teen volunteer at the Land O' Lakes Library. Those wishing to participate should fill out the form on the website, then register for one of the training sessions. White and his business partners are in negotiations with the City of St. Petersburg to build a fourth Doc Ford's Rum Bar & Grille on the approach to the St. Petersburg Pier with a second event space on the pier according to White. The group met near Spa Beach after a ground breaking ceremony for the new pier. "We want to have our business open by the time the pier opens," said White.
