GFWC Lutz-Land O'Lakes Woman's Club Fall Flea Market: There will be a booth selling plants, as well as a bake sale of homemade goods, along with numerous flea market bargains. 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Land O'Lakes Community Center, 5401 Land O'Lakes Blvd., Land O'Lakes. Quarter Auction for the Lighthouse: A fast-paced auction where participants may bid on items for as little as 25 cents, 50 cents or $1. Bring a roll of quarters to bid on jewelry, baskets, candles, handbags, food and home items. The event will benefit services provided to Pasco, Hernando and Citrus county clients of the Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind. 6 p.m. Tickets are $20; includes one paddle, light appetizers and beverages. Signs and Symptoms Essential Pet-Talk: The program will include a discussion of canine influenza and provide pet owners with information about various medical signs and symptoms. Participants will learn what to do when symptoms are present, how to identify emergency situations and when to seek treatment. Coffee and doughnuts will be served prior to the meeting. Fall Festival, Craft Show and Healthy Community Fair: Includes free food, activities and games, face painting, pumpkin decorating, a pie-eating contest (registration required), craft vendors, and information and screenings by the Pasco County Health Department and Premier Community HealthCare Group. Holes for Hope golf tournament: This is a benefit for the Sunrise of Pasco domestic violence and sexual assault center. Includes breakfast and lunch, drinks, 18 holes of golf and gratuities. West Pasco Plant Clinic: The Pasco County Master Gardeners will staff this plant clinic every Tuesday, except for the college's scheduled holidays. Fundraiser 'shower' for Sunrise of Pasco: In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the GFWC Lutz-Land O'Lakes Woman's Club will host this fundraising event for Sunrise of Pasco, a domestic and sexual violence shelter. The event includes bunco games with prizes, followed by a speaker from Sunrise and lunch. There will also be door prizes, a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle to benefit the shelter. 10 a.m. $15, or $10 and a donation of items for the shelter. Lutz Civic Center, 98 First Ave. NW, Lutz. NAMI Pasco banquet: This is the annual banquet for the National Alliance on Mental Illness/NAMI Pasco. The event, during Mental Illness Awareness Week, is designed to recognize those in the community who have gone above and beyond to help those with a mental illness and their families. The speaker will be international motivational speaker Jeff Yalden, who has presented his program, "Take Time to Think," to more than 4 million youth. 6 to 9 p.m. $30 for members and $35 for the general public, which includes dinner. Adobe Lightroom classes: This session is "Editing Essentials."
