DJ Kitty Onesie: The first 15,000 ticket holders who arrive to the Rays-Rangers game Saturday will score the most questionable fashion statement of the season: a free adult-sized DJ Kitty Onesie. It's complete with a tail, a hood featuring a cat face and "DJ Kitty" written across the back. Saturday is also "Baseball Forever Night" and the city of St. Petersburg wants fans to pack the stadium to show the team how much they love them. Kids' Gasparilla International Film Festival: This new film fest for kids at the Glazer Museum in Tampa on Friday features short films and animations from the New York Children's International Film Festival. The 11 a.m. screening is a collection of shorts for a younger audience (ages 3-7); the noon and 4 p.m. screenings are recommended for ages 8-adult. Date night

Taking Back Sunday: The emo heroes will be joined by Every Time I Die and Modern Chemistry on Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Jannus Live, 200 First Ave. N, St. Petersburg. ($26.50). That show was close to being sold out at press time, but later on Friday, John Nolan, the guitarist and co-lead vocalist of Taking Back Sunday performs a DJ set at 10 p.m. The Bends, 919 First Ave. N, St. Petersburg. jannuslive.com.

Proof: Stageworks Theatre opens this show Friday with a gala and post-performance toast with cast ($35). The show about a woman who has put her life on hold to care for her brilliant mathematician father runs through July 30. $30, $25 seniors, $20 students and military. Dead Prez: Did you miss Dead Prez's rare, intimate November concert at the Local 662 in St. Petersburg? You're in luck: The veteran rap duo will play an even smaller club in the 'Burg this weekend. The fiery, militant Stic.Man and M-1 will play Fubar, 658 Central Ave., on Saturday night (doors open at 6 p.m., but expect them to go on much later). Advance tickets are $20 and up, and Fubar's pretty small, so get them early at Eventbrite.com.
