Play Tampa Bay: Celebrate the Pier, 'American Idiot', Pride and Passion

Raise a Toast to the Pier: Celebrate the closing of the Pier at this event in downtown St. Petersburg on Saturday. It's free.

 

American Idiot: The musical runs Friday through Sunday at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa. Tickets start at $44.50.

 

Pride and Passion: The Tampa Museum of Art event is 8 p.m. Saturday in Tampa. $85, includes a museum membership.

  4. Innovocative Theatre company debuts with workmanlike production of 'Proof'

    TAMPA — A new company debuts with Proof, David Auburn's Pulitzer-winning play. Innovocative Theatre, founded by Dunedin native Staci Sabarsky, is currently running productions out of Stageworks Theatre space. Sabarsky also directs and performs in the show.
