Rays players hit the runway for charity

It will be a real fly ball tonight when Sam Fuld, Evan Longoria and other players, coaches and their wives and girlfriends hit the runway to raise money for the Children's Dream Fund. Among the Rays and their significant others slated to trade uniforms for the latest fashions to sashay down the runway are hitting coach Derek Shelton, pitchers Chris Archer, Alex Cobb, Jeremy Hellickson and Brandon Gomes. Second baseman Kelly Johnson and outfielder Matt Joyce will be there, as well as Jake McGee, Matt Moore, Cesar Ramos and Ben Zobrist. There will also be a contingent of "dream children" participating in the eighth annual event today at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort in St. Petersburg. It's $125, $75 ages 17 and younger, and it includes cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, all to benefit the Children's Dream Fund. (727) 894-1000.
