Sexy 'True Blood' werewolf headlines Hard Rock Halloween party

Joe Manganiello, whose ripped abs and sexy snarl as the werewolf Alcide in HBO's True Blood make evisceration look a lot more fun than it probably is, will be making a special guest appearance at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa's Monster's Ball on Oct. 26.

The sexy beast will be the highlight of the Halloween party, but don't forget his other Tampa connection comes from the hit movie Magic Mike, where he danced alongside Channing Tatum in Ybor City.

The Monster's Ball will be staged in the Hard Rock Cafe and includes a $1,000 costume contest (no masks or full facial make-up allowed) at a party hosted by 93.3 FLZ's Brian Fink with monster mash-up music mixes provided by DJ Barry Carew (from the 2013 Corona Light Kenny Chesney Tour) and DJ Santana.

Limited pre-sale tickets starting at $15 will go on sale Monday at RockTampa.com.

Before taking over as the werewolf Alcide Herveaux on True Blood, Manganiello played Flash Thompson in the Spider-Man film series and had recurring roles on such TV shows as ER, How I Met Your Mother and One Tree Hill. But we'll always love him for his stripper scenes in Magic Mike.
