St. Pete Beach Community Yard Sale: Spaces for the Jan. 25 event are available. The cost for the 10- by 10-foot space is $15 for St. Pete Beach residents and $17.50 for nonresidents. For information or to reserve a space, call (727) 363-9245

Swimming program: Join a diverse group of swimmers and triathletes for early morning workouts. Classes take place from 5:30 to 7 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday with a free tryout on the first visit. The cost is a $30 pool fee and $40 coaching fee. St. Petersburg Parks and Recreation offers before- and after-school programs from kindergarten through eighth grade. Camps are Monday through Friday at 11 locations through June 4. Participants are supervised by trained staff and coaches, and sign-in and sign-out procedures are used. Youth have planned activities and special events, with indoor and outdoor rotating activities. Full-day activities are provided during days when Pinellas County public schools are not in session, plus spring, winter and fall breaks. Relax with yoga: Enjoy the soothing moves of Joyful Yoga at the Willis S. Johns Recreation Center, 6635 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. N, St. Petersburg. Guided tram tours: On the ranger-guided tram tours of the Boyd Hill Nature Preserve, learn about history, alligators, gopher tortoises, birds and wildflowers. St. Pete Beach Family Aquatic Center classes: Water aerobics is held from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Zumba for all fitness levels is held from 11 a.m. to noon Mondays and 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. Saturdays. Cost for both classes is $5 for residents, $6 nonresidents. Both accept Silver Sneakers. Lego robotics program: This after-school team program teaches children 8 and older how to design, program and build a competitive robot using a Lego Mindstorms kit. City Power Toastmasters: Discover your ability to lead, give good presentations and plan meetings from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesdays at the St. Petersburg Municipal Services Building, 1 Fourth St. N, Room 600. For information, call (727) 893-7918.

Parent to parent: Suncoast Center St. Petersburg is seeking volunteers to help parents with age-appropriate behaviors, discipline techniques, stress reduction, nutrition and family budgeting. Call (727) 388-1220 or go to suncoastcenter.org.

Dancing without boundaries: This is a creative movement class designed for all ages and abilities. This class focuses on the therapeutic side of movement through self-expression and improvisational exercises. 7 to 7:45 p.m. at Gladden Park Recreation Center, 3901 30th Ave. N. Tutoring assistance: Tutoring with Trudy is a way to provide support and guidance in all areas of instruction. This class will focus on homework help, test preparation and confidence. The instructor is a 10-year teaching veteran who is a certified learning disability specialist and teacher. Classes can be scheduled Monday through Thursday at Shore Acres Recreational Center, 4230 Shore Acres Blvd. NE. Class times vary depending on scheduling. Cost is $15 per 30-minute session. Ballet fitness classes: Work on correct form, alignment and core strength with classes that incorporate yoga, tai chi, Pilates and classical ballet from 7:40 to 8:40 p.m. Wednesday at the Azalea Recreation Center, 1600 72nd St. N, St. Petersburg.
