Monday is Social Media Day, a global event started by Mashable five years ago, and some Tampa bloggers and even the Tampa Bay Times are joining in to recognize the digital revolution. The Times is sponsoring a meetup at 6 p.m. at the Amsterdam Bier Cafe, 1049 Central Ave., St. Petersburg, where it will extend its regular happy hour until 8 p.m. with $2 off all taps and $5 house wines and free snacks. Also on Monday, there will be a craft beer tasting provided by Pepin distribution, virtual golf experience at Golfer's Grail, plus giveaways from local businesses at 6 p.m. at Golfer's Grail, 10019 N Dale Mabry, Tampa. And foodie bloggers will be gathering at lunchtime at Yard of Ale Gastro Pub, 2675 Ulmerton Road, Clearwater.
