TAMPA — The Tampa Greek Festival continues Sunday at the St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church.
The festival, which opened Saturday for its 33rd year, benefits Life Path Hospice.
Dance groups from the church practiced for months in order to perform traditional Greek dances, such as the Kalamatiano dance. Traditional foods, such as baklava and gyros, are also available along with various shopping booths and a kids play area.
"We mix our faith, our culture, our food, our music, and our dancing all into one great celebration that takes place during the best time of the year," said George Fellios, the festival's program coordinator.
