'The Veldt' vocalist to perform in St. Pete

Chris James, the vocalist on the Grammy-nominated club hit The Veldt by Deadmau5, will perform at Push Ultra Lounge this Saturday. James was a guest vocalist for the song, which ranked number 48 on Rolling Stone's list of the 50 best songs of 2012. Producer Tommy Trash is up for a Grammy for Best Remixed Recording list for his remix of the song. James, who also was the featured vocalist on Arty's Together We Are and Hot Mouth's Totally Worth It, is getting ready to release his first solo tracks. He will both sing and DJ at Push on Saturday. Admission is $10 for men, women free at 128 Third St. S in downtown St. Petersburg.
