There's still more to do at Chasco Fiesta

The Chasco Fiesta hosts events daily in downtown New Port Richey and will wrap up on Saturday with the annual boat parade down the Pithlachascotee River, the newly added Special Olympics Fun Run and a country concert featuring Gloriana, Jon Pardi and On Second Thoughts.

Between now and then, there still is plenty to do whether you're wanting to give a go at the carnival rides and games, shop the flea market and craft show or take in the nighttime music offerings in Sims Park.

Today

Covnata Energy Chasco Fiesta Carnival, Grateful Nation concert in honor of veterans featuring Nutin' Fancy, a band dedicated to re-creating classic '70s Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Thursday

Covnata Energy Chasco Fiesta Carnival, free Blues Masters concert featuring Franc Robert & the Boxcar Tourists, Julie Black and the Selywn Birchwood Band.

Friday

Covnata Energy Chasco Fiesta Carnival, Chasco memorabilia display, Chasco Fiesta Golf Tournament, Friendly Kia True Oldies Night featuring Piano Man; a tribute to Billy Joel with Mark Anthony.

Saturday

Covnata Energy Chasco Fiesta Carnival, softball tournament, Making the Cut, Special Olympics 5K Fun Run, Ferman Chasco Fiesta Boat Parade, Sertoma drawing, country concert with Gloriana, Jon Pardi and On Second Thoughts. Tickets for the country concert are preferred seating $20 in advance/$25 day of. General admission $10 in advance, $15 day of.
