There's still time for the Pasco County Fair

DADE CITY — Alligators wrestling burly men, busting broncos, a baby pageant and pigs racing down the stretch.

Cotton candy, midway rides, livestock shows, magic tricks and strolling musicians.

There's all that and more as the Pasco County Fair continues through Sunday, offering a full schedule of activities and events for weekday and weekend revelers.

Daily offerings include multiple showings of Robinson's Racing Pigs & Paddling Porkers, Sea Lion Splash seal show, Kachunga & the Alligator Show and local entertainment courtesy of the Collura Family Theatre.

Events of special note include the Miss Heart of Florida Pageant (7 p.m. Friday, $2 with gate admission); Pasco County Fair Championship Rodeo "Tough Enough to Wear Pink Night" for Breast Cancer Awareness (7 p.m. Friday); Miss Pasco Princess & Mister Pasco Prince Baby Pageant (noon Saturday); Pasco County Fair Championship Rodeo and Military Tribute (2:30 p.m. Saturday); live music with the Boogie Brothers Band (4 to 6 p.m. Saturday); Delta River Band (7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday); and the Amazing Monster Trucks & Thrill Show (3 p.m. Sunday, there's a meet-and-greet at 2 p.m.)

Hours: 3 to 11 p.m. today through Fri.; 8 a.m. to midnight Sat.; noon to 7 p.m. Sun.

Admission: $8 adults; $5 ages 612; free ages 5 and younger. Unlimited midway ride specials: $18 wristband today and Thursday; $22 wristband Friday through Sunday. (Doesn't include admission.)

Parking: Free.
